Project Overview: Shoshtari is a north-south Shahrak-e-Shahr free tunnel and at the end of the eastern part of Tehran, as the axis of the Basij Highway, the Imam Reza Highway connects the south-east to the Shahid Yasini highway in the northeast. The length of the highway is about 18 kilometers, with the execution of about 5 kilometers in the southern part, and the rest due to the presence of military adversaries and the presence of environmental issues has been halted for some time. Currently, the relationship between the southern axis of Tehran with the axis of the north east of Tehran is all through the city and through the Basij Highway and the martyr Yasini. By executing this project, the belt of Tehran has been completed and it is possible to pass the outgoing urban traffic on the Basij Highway and Shahid Yasini's axis to the Shoshtari Freeway and the tunnel and thereby effectively contribute to reducing traffic in Tehran.
